Future-proof a property and its value by installing ultrafast broadband. Implementing full fibre infrastructure to new or existing premises increases both market value and appeal to current and prospective tenants.
Ultrafast internet is fast becoming a necessity, with intrinsic long-term value that can propel the desirability of a property for prospective tenants. A full fibre connection will future-proof a property for decades to come.
FullFibre builds fibre optic cables direct to premises, for free, offering a reliable and ultrafast connection with download speeds of 1Gbps. This is ideal for homes using multiple devices everyday.
The majority of new apartment buildings now come equipped with full fibre infrastructure that offers the fastest available broadband speeds to residents, but FullFibre can install this service in existing apartment buildings, so residents don’t get left behind.
If your building is in an area that FullFibre operates in, it can be included in the full fibre rollout free of charge, enabling your tenants to receive ultrafast broadband services.
Case Study
Firstly, the lead-in cable entry to the building was located within the basement but there were no available internal cabling routes to the individual flats. This happened because refurbishment works had been carried out and all routes were closed off and sealed. This meant that cables now needed to be run externally to each flat.
This presented the second challenge: designing a cabling system for a listed building that would comply with all wiring regulations without the need for listed building consent (LBC).
We’re pleased to say that our expert surveyors were able to design a cabling system that provided the very latest broadband technology in the most discreet and aesthetically pleasing way possible. The full fibre designer opened a line of communication with the local conservation officer and provided them with detailed drawings and pictures of our proposed solutions and explanations. This included how we intended to cable the building without affecting the aesthetics of such a beautiful historic property.
The local conservation officer approved our design almost immediately and confirmed that there would be no requirement for listed building consent (LBC).
